Short Order
There’s no doubt where Tim and Nina Zagat’s hearts lie in the presidential race. Check out their sample entry for a mythical restaurant called “Tim and Nina’s” on page 4 of the new guide, just out yesterday. To explain how to use the guide’s symbols, the wily and succesful vox populi restaurant guidsters have imagined their own eatery. Here's the item:
West 50s, 4 Columbus Circle (8th Ave)
Open 24/7 (some say that’s 168 hours too much), this literal 'deep dive' (in the CC IRT Station) started the 2008 election sandwich craze, e.g. bits of field-dressed moose on stale Arizona bread vs. Delaware crab on health loaf; though American flags cover the walls, underneath them the place resembles 'a derelict hunting cabin' and T&N act like they'd prefer to shoot you than serve you; sure it's 'dirt cheap,' but you get what you pay for in life."
